Moorhead Area Public Schools holding registration in August

Kindergarten Registration

Moorhead Area Public Schools will offer families free all-day, everyday kindergarten beginning this fall. A partial-day option is available. Students who are not yet registered for kindergarten should be registered as soon as possible. See elementary new student registration for details.

Elementary New Student Registration

Students in grades K-5 who are new to the Moorhead School District and still need to register for the 2013-14 school year should register at the school the child will be attending or at the Office of the Assistant Superintendent at Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St S. For more information about registration or to learn which school their child will be attending, parents should call the Office of the Assistant Superintendent at 284-3370. The attendance area map is available on the district’s website at https://www.moorheadschools.org/About/Enroll-in-District/.

Horizon Middle School New Student Registration

Middle school students in grades 6-8 who are new to the Moorhead School District should register for the 2013-14 school year during the upcoming new student registration. New student registration will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 15 in the Horizon Middle School counseling office, 3601 12th Ave. S., Moorhead. New student tours also will be given Aug. 15. A grade 6 new student presentation and tour is set for 11 a.m.

Moorhead High School New Student Registration

New student registration at Moorhead High School will be Aug. 15 and Aug. 19-21. Call the Moorhead High School registrar’s office at 284-2400 or the Moorhead High School counseling office at 284-2312 to schedule an appointment.

Red River Area Learning Center Registration

Registration for the Red River Area Learning Center will from 4:30-7 p.m. Aug. 19. Call 284-2200 for more information.
