As part of her state-wide Back-to-School tour, Commissioner Brenda Cassellius will be in Moorhead on Aug. 16 to hold a community listening session.
Community members are invited to join Commissioner Cassellius for cookies and conversation about Minnesota’s school funding system and how it meets the current needs of students and schools. The information gathered will be shared with the Commissioner’s Education Finance Working Group, a panel charged with developing recommendations to reform and improve the current school funding system.
The meeting is open to the community and will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Commissioner Cassellius will be joined by Moorhead Area Public Schools Superintendent Lynne A. Kovash and Moorhead School Board members and administrators. Cookies will be provided.
