Moorhead Community Education’s Annual Gardening Seminar Features Joe Bergeson

Moorhead Community Education, Master Gardeners of Clay County and University of Minnesota Extension Clay County are hosting the annual spring Gardening Seminar titled “Green, Growing and Grand” on Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. at Horizon Middle School.

This year’s gardening seminar features the presentation “The Future of Hardy Roses” by Joe Bergeson from Bergeson Nursery. The seminar also includes vendors, informative speakers and door prizes. Sessions include perennials, new annuals, landscaping, diseases of trees and shrubs, bee keeping, and outdoor yard/garden decorations.

A fee of $34 ($29 for Moorhead School District residents) covers the presentations, refreshments and a lunch buffet. Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is March 7.
