Kindergarten registration for Moorhead Area Public Schools for the 2012-13 school year will be Jan. 24 and 25, 2012. Registration will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
Parents should register at the school located within their elementary attendance area. Robert Asp Elementary is located at 910 11th St. N., Ellen Hopkins Elementary is at 2020 11th St. S., and S.G. Reinertsen Elementary is at 1201 40th Ave. S. All Reinertsen kindergarten students will attend kindergarten at Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St. S. Reinertsen parents are encouraged to register their students at Probstfield, but registrations will still be accommodated at Reinertsen.
Children must be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2012. Parents should bring along a birth certificate, hospital record or baptismal record for proof of age.
Additional information about completing the registration process will be included in the kindergarten registration packet that will be mailed in mid-January.
